How does shipping work?
Shipping is calculated based on the total weight of your selected yarns and your delivery location. Simply fill up your adoption bag, select your country, and enter your postcode to see your estimated shipping cost. You can add or remove yarns to see how the cost changes!

Is the yarn really free?
Yes! Every yarn baby is free destash yarn from my own stash. You only pay for shipping, which also covers a box and the materials to pack your yarn babies safely for their journey.
When will my yarn babies be posted?
I pack every box by hand, so please allow up to 7 business days for your order to be posted. You'll get a tracking number by email once it's on its way!
What condition is the yarn in?
Some skeins are brand new, while others have been opened, rewound or partly used. I'll note the condition on a yarn when I know it.
Why don't some yarns have a brand or fibre listed?
Some yarns lost their labels along the way, so the brand or fibre content is unknown. These are listed as Mystery Yarn with their colour.
Are the weights exact?
Weights are measured on my scale and are approximate.
Will the colour look the same in real life?
I photograph each yarn using studio lighting to capture its colour as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen's settings and display.
What if a yarn is already gone?
All yarn is subject to availability. Each yarn baby can only be adopted once, so if someone else checks out first, it will show as already adopted.
